Ooh treasure!

Looks like there’s a treasure hunt for land of the dead goodies.

Mythic and GOA have been sending out packs to websites with bits of bone, maps and stories…

Spotted so far:

UK:
MMOzone.nl
Warhammer Vault
Freddyshouse

US:
Epic slant
Tome of Knowledge
Da toughest
(Not going to keep listing these – check Warhammer Alliance for more US stuff)

Differences – UK map bits are cooler than the US ones – but the US folks got rather cool fake bones :)
(I’d cry “GOA throw us a bone!” but Dublin->The Netherlands is international shipping, wonder if getting bones through that was maybe a bit tricky :) )

The flags make me think that the letters/translations might be different for each of the languages but we’ve not got any crossover yet to be able to say for definite.
Edit: check that – Letters are definitely different – the US letter for E that was sent to Epic Slant is the same as the UK letter for K – so the alphabets are different this side of the pond.

I’ve pieced together the pieces of the map here:
lotd_map_treasure

And here’s the complete alphabet for the UK (EU English) cartouches:

S is for squigs are ace!

Cartouches:

The cross on NW part of the map above is for the Stela of Ahaseba or something similar. I unlocked it on test a few days back wandering around after failing the Vulture Lord tomb. Its a book/tablet thing on the ground in the corner of a ruined hut thing. The book is normally covered by scarabs that dont do anything.

I typed up all the journal entries so people can follow the story without having to read from pics over a number of different sites.
